Hi! 👋  I’m Lokesh, a designer based out of Bangalore, India. I enjoy crafting digital experiences to address interesting problems.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve worked on and led projects in healthcare, hospitality, arts, and app development. Currently, I'm leading the design of an eLearning tool at Adobe.

Scroll down to see some of my work.

Modernizing Adobe Captivate
User research | Design strategy | Product Design
Captivate is Adobe’s flagship eLearning tool used by instructional designers. We modernized the tool to make it simple and easy-to-use, for better content creation. This is an exciting, collaborative project that spanned multiple teams.

Rethinking responsive content authoring
Product Design | User testing
In an effort to simplify responsive content authoring, we tried an exciting parallel authoring concept. Eventually, based on feedback from our users and changing product priorities, we pivoted to a templatised content experience.

User validation: Design framework
User Research | Design strategy
We learnt more about our users, their process, and needs, in our effort to validate the hypotheses around the product framework and the design system. This exercise also made the stakeholders and the overall team confident about the new direction.

Enabling aesthetics in eLearning content
Product Design
How might we enable users to create ‘visually appealing’ content, even though it’s subjective? We redesigned the way themes worked, attempted a color generation model, and improved the experience around and the quality of assets used in the product.

Intelligent digital assets
Experiment | Patent
A simple idea that started as a conversation about collaboration between designers and engineers, shaped up into an important tech capability for the future of digital assets at Adobe. We even patented the concept.

Enhancing contextual learning using AI
Experiment | Artificial Intelligence
We leveraged object identification capability of ML models to enhance contextual learning in hands-on tutorials.
